Meet our team
ms. Tamila Crowder
My name is Tamila Crowder and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year. Teaching is a passion of mine. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach their dreams through their education. As an educator, I strive to empower students and help them to make a positive contribution to the world. I am thrilled to be working at Riverwalk Academy.
ms. Starla Davis
My passion for teaching lead me to obtaining a degree in elementary education. I have spent over 10 years in education where I have served in the elementary school setting and the preschool setting. I found my passion for teaching early childhood when I spent four years teaching at a preschool. I am proud to have been a facilitator at Riverwalk since its founding year. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I love being on the lake, going to Hornets game, and reading in my spare time. I love teaching at a school where facilitators and learners are working together to build authentic learning experiences through project based learning.
