April is here, so it's time to announce our Staff Members of the Month!
These individuals keep a positive attitude and are always willing to lend a hand to help our staff and students. Each one of these staff members represents our Riverwalk PRIDE, and we are so thankful for the impact they are making on our community.
We would like to congratulate Ms. Bumgarner, Ms. Tyner, and Mr. Prothero for being selected as our April Staff Members of the Month! We greatly appreciate the time and energy they give to our Pride.
Ms. Bumgarner, Marketing/Enrollment Coordinator
Ms. Bumgarner was nominated by a colleague who said the following about her:
"I constantly see Kayla using her skill sets and strengths in so many areas of our school. From social media posts to school tours, facilitating events, or even covering a classroom when needed, she always does it with a smile and with integrity, and full effort. We are better because of her and she doesn't get enough credit for the things she does but what makes a difference is that she doesn't do it to receive the credit she does it because she has a servant's heart."
Ms. Tyner, Middle School Special Education Teacher
Ms. Tyner was nominated by a colleague who said the following about her:
"I watch Ms. Tyner juggle multiple different behavioral and academic challenges with unmatched willingness. In addition she always lends an ear and offers advice to fellow staff members. She does this daily! Her commitment to make Riverwalk a better place does not go unnoticed. Thank you Ms. Tyner!"
Mr. Prothero, High School Science Teacher
Mr. Prothero was nominated by a colleague who said the following about him:
"Mr. Prothero is an amazing role model and wonder asset to Riverwalk Academy."
