October is National Principals Month, a time to honor and celebrate the dedicated educational leaders who play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students. At Riverwalk Academy, we are proud to highlight and appreciate the exceptional work of three extraordinary principals: Ms. McCray, Dr. Dempsey, and Mr. Ball.

Ms. McCray: Leading with Compassion and Dedication

Ms. McCray, our elementary school principal, exemplifies unwavering dedication to her students and staff. She creates a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued. She’s truly an instructional leader, and efforts to improve our educational outcomes have significantly boosted student achievement, and her warm and welcoming demeanor is a beacon of support for all.

Dr. Dempsey: Fostering Excellence Through Innovation

Dr. Dempsey, the principal of our middle school, is a visionary leader who continuously seeks innovative ways to enhance the educational experience. Under her guidance, our 6th - 9th-grade teachers are working tirelessly to improve our students’ PBL experience, ensuring our students are well-prepared for future challenges. Dr. Dempsey's commitment to fostering a growth mindset has inspired both students and teachers to reach new heights.

Mr. Ball: Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders

Mr. Ball, our high school principal, is a beacon of inspiration for our older students. He instills a sense of responsibility and leadership in each student, encouraging them to take ownership of their education and their future. Mr. Ball's commitment to preparing our students for life after high school has opened countless doors of opportunity for our graduates.
