January is here, so it's time to announce our Staff Members of the Month!
These individuals keep a positive attitude and are always willing to lend a hand to help our staff and students. These staff members put students first and we are so thankful for the impact they make each day on our campus and in our community.
We would like to congratulate Ms. T Wilson, Mr. Williams, and Mr. Ball for being selected as our January Staff Members of the Month! We greatly appreciate the time and energy they give to our Pride. These teachers demonstrate our Core Commitments at Riverwalk Academy!
Ms. T Wilson, PE Teacher
T Wilson was nominated by a colleague who said:
"Coach T. Wilson is a bright spot at Riverwalk! She makes PE so fun for our students and they love getting to learn and play games with her! She does her best to keep things fresh and exciting with things like the “Fastest Class Challenge” and offering fun incentives for classes where students are prepared for PE. I always appreciate how she praises positive student behavior and handles any problems that arise with fairness. I am thankful for Coach Wilson!"

Mr. Williams, 9th Grade Teacher
Williams was nominated by a student who said:
"Mr. Williams is the best, he takes the time to understand us and help us learn a certain to where we can 100% understand. I want to thank him for being a shining light in my life and inspiring me to be the best version of myself."

Mr. Ball, Secondary Principal
Ball was nominated by a parent who said:
"Mr. Ball goes above and beyond in caring for the full time dual enrollment students. He always has a positive outlook and supportive attitude in everything he does. He truly cares for his students beyond the walls of the school by getting to know who they are, what they are currently facing in life and what aspirations they have. Our family couldn’t be more grateful for him and how he cares for our son. Our school is very blessed to have Mr. Ball.."
