Ms. Carney was nominated by a student who had this to say:
"Ms. Carney should be the staff member of the month because she is so kind and so great. She is so nice to me. She always talks to me and makes me feel special."
A fellow staff member nominated Mr. Young:
Kyle planned and implemented a wax museum to celebrate the Renaissance period they studied. He even changed the term to fit our kids’ understanding and enjoyment, calling the people of the period “influencers.” Our kids were engaged, and they all put on a fabulous show.
Ms. Mabey was nominated by a colleague who said this about her:
Ms. Mabey is always offering a helping hand to any staff member in need. She not only does her work but also helps others whenever she can. After moving to the new building, she has been a key person in making the transition a smooth one for a lot of staff members. She is full of useful knowledge that only a seasoned employee would know, and she never hesitates to share that information!
