Last week, our elementary students at Riverwalk Academy had the exciting opportunity to welcome a very special guest reader — Anthony “Squirt” Baxter, a standout student-athlete from South Pointe High School and a soon-to-be University of South Carolina Gamecock! 🐔🏈

Anthony recently added published author to his impressive list of achievements with the release of his debut book, The First Quarter Adventures — a story that encourages kids to dream big, stay focused, and never give up on their goals.

Our students were inspired not only by his words on the page, but also by the powerful example he sets as a scholar, athlete, and now, author. Thank you, Anthony, for sharing your time and your story with us — we’ll be cheering you on as you take the field at USC this January! 💙🦁📖
