At Riverwalk Academy, we cherish the tradition of filling "blue envelopes" for our seniors. This heartwarming tradition allows families and staff to write encouraging letters to the students who are about to leave high school and step into the next chapter of their lives. These letters are filled with words of wisdom, inspiration, and well-wishes as our seniors prepare to enter the world beyond high school. It’s a special moment for the Riverwalk Academy community to come together and show our support for these young adults embarking on their future journeys. We encourage all families and staff members who know a graduating senior to take part in this meaningful tradition. You have until May 19th to submit your letters, which can be dropped off at any of our front offices. Help us send these students off with encouragement and love! If you don't have blue envelopes, we'll take whatever color you've got. We want to give a big shout-out to our amazing Teaching Assistants. Today is National Paraprofessional Day, and while the term might sound long and formal, it doesn’t fully capture all the incredible work these women do for our school. They are a constant source of support for fellow staff members, students, and parents alike. They give endlessly, handle unexpected challenges with grace, and uplift students by pouring into them day in and day out.
