Erica McCray has been a part of the Riverwalk Pride for ten years, the last seven of which have been in administration. Ms. McCray brings such a gentle and caring atmosphere to our elementary team through the way she truly listens to the needs of students, guardians, and staff members and works to accommodate those needs for the better of our school. We are grateful for her contributions to our school community and she is a true asset. She had this to say about her service in administration: "I love being a principal because I am able to build meaningful connections with students daily and I am able to be part of a community that genuinely cares about helping students grow and be successful."

Not only is Mr. Ball our 10th-12th Secondary Principal at our York Tech campus, but he is also our Athletic Director. He ensures that our students are in pursuit of college and career excellence and maintains a top-notch academic program that encompasses swim, basketball, cross country, golf, volleyball, and so much more! Help us welcome to the Riverwalk Pride Mr. Tyreke Glenn! He is joining us as our K-9 Restorative Practices Facilitator.
"Hi, I'm Tyreke Glenn and I'm excited to be the Restorative Practices Facilitator for my first year here. Originally from Columbia, SC, I've been in the Rock Hill/Fort Mill area for 6 years. I have a Master’s Degree in Sport and Fitness Administration from Winthrop University and have worked with children of all ages for 2 years, gaining valuable experience as a tutor and mentor through volunteer efforts. I'm passionate about helping students thrive and I’m eager to bring that dedication to Riverwalk Academy. Outside of work, I’m a fitness enthusiast and a proud “gym rat.” I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, cooking up new recipes, and staying connected with my family. I also love giving back to the community through volunteer work. A fun fact about me is that I had heart surgery at 15, which has been a driving force behind my commitment to personal wellness and my passion for helping others succeed.
I'm looking forward to creating a positive, supportive environment for our students, encouraging their growth and ensuring they reach their full potential in all areas of life!"
